A regional bank who has operations across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore with relatively country centric operations.

Current Setting

A new regional CIO came onboard in Mid-2011 and he is currently trying to chart out a path for consolidating IT Operations across the region from the current mode of every country has its own IT department, as a first step towards that he decided to pursue technology standardization starting with the internet banking application which is due for revamp on account of its age (> 5 years) as well as the need to move to supported versions of the underlying middle-ware
